Terms & Conditions

Booking confirmation:

A booking deposit of $200 is required to secure the date. This deposit must be paid within 7 days from the invoice issue date. After this tentative period, your booking will no longer be held or confirmed. Additional time can be given on request.

 

Payments:  

All payments are via direct deposit, bank details can be found in the invoice or at the end of this document. There are no credit card facilities available. All hire items must be fully paid for at least 4 weeks prior to the event.  If not paid by this time Breeze Weddings Australia reserves the right to cancel the booking. A refundable security bond will be required to be paid on top of the total quote. This bond is fully refunded into your account providing all time frames are met and there was no loss or damage involved.

 

Cancelations:  

Booking deposit is not refundable in the event of cancellation or postponement.  It may be used as future credit at the discretion of Breeze Weddings Australia.

 

On the day:  

Team of stylist (minimum of 2) will arrive 2 hours prior to the ceremony start time. Everything will be set up and ready 30 min before the ceremony. Our team members will also be able to assist with coordinating the bridal walk and playing the music using the PA system provided by your celebrant (please notify us if you will require such assistance).

Photos may be taken during the ceremony by our stylist for future use in advertising and social media, please talk to us beforehand if you have any concerns.

We will pack up your wedding site one hour after the ceremony start time stated in the invoice. If you arrive late and would like to extend the time for photos please confirm with our stylist and be aware that an additional charge may apply.

 

Permits:  

The client is responsible for obtaining any ceremony or event permits that may be required. A copy of the permit should be emailed to us at least 4 weeks prior to the event date.

 

 

Ceremony location:  

The exact ceremony location is to be marked on a map or described using land marks (we will then mark in on a map and send it for your approval). If you prefer to have a meeting at the locaiton, an additional fee of $80 may be charged.

For a beach wedding we will set up within 10 meters from the beach entry. The entry is to be no more than 20 meters distance from the vehicle access. Please advise us at the time of booking of any difficulties with access such as steps, steep hills, long walk, etc as an additional labor fee may apply. If in doubt you can send us photos or a video of the location and access.

 

Inclement weather:  

In the even of rain or high winds, we will set up at your wet weather option venue. This will be confirmed with you 3 hours prior to the ceremony. If you choose to hold the ceremony outdoors despite our weather warnings, Breeze Weddings Australia reserves the right to withhold any of decorative items that may be damaged by the rain. Any item not used on the day of hire due to changed circumstances or inclement weather conditions will not be refunded or credited.

 

Loss/Damage:  

All breakages, damages and loss must be paid for by the customer. This charge will be deducted from your security bond at the discretion of Breeze Weddings Australia and may be to a maximum of full replacement value. Once all goods are returned in the same condition your security bond is fully refunded in to your account withing 7 days following the event. Please note that fresh dark rose petals (bright pink, purple, red) are not allowed to be used on white aisle runners as they might stain.

 

Changes/Extars/Reductions:  

Final styling requirements and guests numbers are to be  given at least 14 days prior to the event. Reductions will not be refunded after this time frame.

Extras (eg. additional chairs, drinks table, parasols, chalkboard sign) can be added right up to the day before your event date providing availability.

Breeze Weddings Australia reserves the right to replace any item booked as part of your package with a similar one due to loss or damage, there will be no notification given regarding such replacement.

 

Clean up:  

Almost all councils and park permits prohibit the use of confetti, rice, etc and in some places fresh rose petals. It is the clients responsibility to inform their guests and arrange a clean up if needed. Breeze Weddings Australia offer a clean up service although this has to be booked prior to the event date. Unless you have booked a drinks table/stand package with us, Breeze Weddings Australia will not be responsible for clean up of empty bottles and cans which have been provided to your guests.

 

Liability:  

In no event shall Breeze Weddings Australia and their respective affiliates, be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or any special, exemplary punitive, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, whether based in contract, tort or otherwise, which arises out of or is in any way connected with use of services or equipment supplied by Breeze Weddigns Australia. Clients accept these terms and conditions upon payment of deposit.

 

DIY Hire:  

For hire items with total price under $100, full price has to be paid as a booking deposit. All hire items must be picked up and dropped off at times stated in your invoice.

Security bond is payable on all collections. This bond is refunded on return of items.

Drivers license is compulsory on the collection of the items.

Equipment not returned in reasonable & clean condition including all packaging may incur an additional cleaning or replacement charge. All breakages and damages must be paid for by the customer. This charge will be at the discretion of Breeze Weddings Australia and may be to a maximum of full replacement value.

Any prolongings of the time frame that has been stated in your invoice will be charged for at the discretion of Breeze Weddings.

Any item not used on the day of hire due to changed circumstances or inclement weather conditions will not be refunded or credited.

Reception styling:  

Breeze Weddings Australia reserves the right to replace any item booked as part of your package with a similar one due to loss or damage, there will be no notification given regarding such replacement.

You are welcome to take any fresh floral arrangements but please make sure that you don’t take any of our vases. If any of our equipment is taken by mistake from the reception venue you will need to arrange the return within 2 days following your event date otherwise additional charges may apply.

Sometimes certain types of fresh flowers become unavailable due to weather conditions. A replacement will be discussed with you within 7 days to your event date.

Ceiling fairy lights and drapings are only possible to install if there are anchor points available in the ceiling structure (ex. open ceiling with visible beams, suspended ceiling which look like tiles and tracks). Please contact us if unsure. Our stylists reserve the right to decide not to install the lights and/or draping if it may endanger our staff members or your guests.

In order to put up the fairy light backdrop a clear space of at least 50 cm will be required behind bridal table chairs and at least 3m ceiling height. Power point will also be required.
